License Renewal & CEU Requirements

License Renewal CEU Requirements North Dakota Electrical Continuing Education Required: Each North Dakota master, journeyman, and class B electrician license are required to take 8 hours of continuing education, of which a minimum of 50% of the hours must be based on the current NEC. The remaining credits must be subjects related to the electrical industry.

PLEASE NOTE: If you live in the state of North Dakota, you must take a continuing education course in North Dakota.

North Dakota Electrical License Renewal: Apprentices due: 1/31, Journeyman due : 3/31, Masters due : 4/30; every year. You can renew your license on the Board website.
